Practical Nursing alum praises program at Career & Tech

"I attended the Practical Nursing program for adult students through Capital Region BOCES in 1993-94. I credit the school and my instructors for my strong nursing skills and ethics. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in school and graduated an A student. 

I am proud to say I have completed all of my degree requirements for my RN. Although I reside in another state, I finished my degree through Excelsior College in Albany (formerly known as Regents College). 

I was introduced to the [Adult Practical Nursing] program by Mrs. King, a classroom instructor at the time. Our class was truly amazing. I praise BOCES and encourage others to pursue their dreams of becoming a nurse or whatever they choose."
