The Lodging Management Program (LMP)
at the Capital Region Career & Technical School is a one-year
program for high school juniors or seniors seeking careers in the management or
operation of resorts, hotels, motels, casinos, theme parks, and
other, diverse businesses. Students gain hands-on, real-world knowledge,
learning both on campus and at area businesses. They also earn
college credit and may earn high school credit for integrated English
and/or math.
The Lodging Management Program was
developed by
the American Hotel & Lodging Association and is supported by the NYS Hospitality
